These trees have just entered their full production. They are eager and rearing to go. They put on lot of growth each year and are bulking up nicely. They need more attention than some of the others but repay with a bounty of fruit.	In full flush of their maturity these trees are the troopers of the grove. With annual pruning their shape is becoming perfected for the production of optimum quality fruit.	Some of these trees are very old indeed - hundreds of years in fact. With some knarled shapes they look almost human. They can be awkward to pick but are well worth the effort.
